Details: Infrastructure Canberra has an opportunity is available to join the dynamic and dedicated Ministerial and Government Business team, situated within the Chief Operating Office.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Ministerial and Government Business, the Cabinet Liaison Officer works with a high degree of autonomy to prepare and coordinate matters relating to Cabinet Business for Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR).
What You Will Do:
- Provide policy, procedural advice and administrative support to Directorate staff on Cabinet processes and procedures as prescribed by the Cabinet Handbook and related guidance.
- Be responsible and have oversight for Cabinet business for the Directorate, including the monitoring and analysing of Cabinet forecasts for the directorate to ensure iCBR meets the required timeframes and obligations.
- Prepare, coordinate and provide quality assurance for Cabinet items progressing through the clearance process.
- Other Cabinet related tasks as required.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Highly Desirable;
- Experience with Cabinet processes.
- Experience in managing sensitive and classified information in accordance with Cabinet protocols and the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
- Hold or be able to obtain a baseline security clearance.
- A good working knowledge of Objective and/or SharePoint.
- Experience with the Objective/ HP Records Manager records management system.
Note: This position is available immediately for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.

Please note, this position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
