The Property Projects Branch within the Delivery – Places and Spaces team at iCBR delivers capital works and infrastructure projects across the ACT Government portfolios, undertaking tendering, risk management, contract management and project management activities. Their remit includes municipal buildings, cultural facilities, arts, public parks and sporting venues. The team also develops and implements innovative procurement and construction techniques for new approaches to project delivery.

This role is responsible for providing support to the Property Projects Branch in meeting its project delivery requirements to one or more partner directorate portfolios as well as working on projects as a Project Officer.

Working closely, under supervision, with the Branch’s Project Managers and/or Supervising Director this role will ensure timely and quality input into project management, procurement and contract management services including administrative and data management tasks.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: 

Mandatory:

  • hold a relevant professional qualification in Engineering, Architecture or Project Management or accreditation with a professional body recognised within Australia; or
  • hold a relevant building degree; or
  • have significant building or Infrastructure knowledge and/or project management experience

Note:  A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
