Details: Infrastructure Canberra has an exciting opportunity for a new Assistant Director, Early Intervention and Injury Management within the Chief Operating Office.
The iCBR Human Resources team is responsible for the provision of human resource management, advice and support services to the Strategic Executive Leadership Team and the Directorate. As part of a small team working to the Senior Director, HR this role will provide support and guidance to the Directorate in day-to-day human resource management actions and processes, including providing strategic guidance and support to the business units within iCBR to ensure appropriate and consistent management of injured and ill iCBR employees
Some of the duties for this position include:
- Undertake a range of both complex and strategic human resources activities relating to improving employee wellbeing outcomes and the ongoing management of ill and injured employees of the Directorate.
- In partnership with HR staff and managers, provide specialist early intervention and rehabilitation case management across the diverse range of Directorate workplaces.
- Contribute expertise to resolving casework, through effective communication and coordination with EML, business units, injury management and HR staff.
- Provide strategic support on Workers Compensation matters including the appeals mechanisms.

- Qualifications in human resources, employee relations or psychology are highly desirable.
- Driver’s licence Class C would be beneficial.

Please note, this position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
