The ICBR Property Projects team are responsible for the delivery of planned and reactive repairs, maintenance services and building and property upgrades across the portfolio of ACT Government owned properties. The team supports the ACT Governments delivery of its services through customer focused, flexible, efficient and cost-effective accommodation solutions and property services.

As a Property Upgrades Officer in the Property Projects team, you will be responsible for project support services as part of a diverse team of highly skilled staff. Your duties will include administration, project support, and coordinating and managing planned building upgrades to ACT Government owned buildings.

The person in this role will generally have some building industry, building maintenance, project management or procurement experience with capabilities for providing technical advice when required. Eligibility/Other requirements:

This position requires:

  • a current driver’s licence (car)
  • Hold or have the capacity to obtain White Card, Silica Awareness and Asbestos Awareness.

Relevant industry or tertiary qualification/s including Qualification/s in business, administration or property related areas are desirable.

Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. Current and former ADF members are encouraged to apply. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
