Details: The team is seeking a talented, driven self-starter to lead the development of an operational framework for the implementation of the new biosecurity legislation.

Desirable skills and qualifications:

  • While a legal background is not required, experience in legislative and/or regulatory processes is highly desired.
  • Experience in project management, including the ability to priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams.

Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of four months with the possibility of extension up to six months. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
