The ACT Education Directorate seeks passionate and qualified Outdoor Education Teachers for a year 11 and 12 setting in Canberra at The University of Canberra Senior Secondary College Lake Ginninderra (UCSSC).

This year the ACT Government launched Inclusive Education: A Disability Inclusion Strategy for ACT Public Schools 2024-2034. The strategy aims to deliver greater inclusion for students with disability across all ACT public schools by making sure schools have the support they need to meet the needs of all learners.
About the College:
UCSSC Lake Ginninderra is a Senior Secondary College situated centrally in Belconnen. The college site includes the Academy of Future Skills, Belconnen Training (RTO), the Academic Excellence Program and Sporting Centres of Excellence. The college caters to over 800 students in year 11 and 12 seeking to obtain a senior secondary certificate including both tertiary and vocational pathways.
The College is seeking a classroom teacher who can take a leading role in the College’s Outdoor Education Program. Over 100 students access the program annually and have the opportunity to study at either a tertiary or vocational level, allowing them to gain a Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation.
