Details: Are you a highly skilled Occupational Therapist with experience delivering and coordinating high quality, culturally safe and inclusive early intervention services. If so, an exciting opportunity exists to join the Child Development Service (CDS). The successful applicant will provide leadership and management to a multidisciplinary team of health professionals and allied health assistants who deliver services to clients of the Child Development Service, with a particular focus on Occupational Therapy services.
You will maintain a clinical load, and also undertake other duties which include administration, coordination and oversight of professional practice, performance management, training and project management.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering Occupational Therapy services and a high level of expertise in early intervention
- Current Registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency- AHPRA
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
Highly desirable: - Experience in the planning, delivery, and oversite of early intervention programs
As this role is likely to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and young people, cultural awareness, the capacity to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is highly desirable
Note: This is temporary position available for up to 12 months with the possibility of permanency. A merit pool or merit list will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
