The Canberra and Region Visitors Centre (CRVC) is looking for casual customer service superstars with a passion for people who will provide the best possible representation for our nation's capital.
Working collaboratively in a team environment, CRVC Visitor Service Officers are responsible for providing accurate, effective, and high-quality customer service to visitors through a range of channels, including electronic/digital, telephone and/or face to face, to ensure positive customer experiences and professional representation of the Canberra region.
You’ll work in a supportive, collaborative and diverse team environment, with leaders who encourage and support you to be your best. You will also benefit from a range of training and development opportunities.
CRVC Visitor Services Officers are required to undertake the following duties:
- Provide high level customer service to visitors regarding local tourist information.
- Coordinate and book sales of travel accommodation and tourism services for visitors using an online reservation system.
- Assist in the sale of merchandise.
- Provide support to volunteer staff on the service counter.
- Proactively contribute to all areas of the organisation.
Occupants of these positions must be prepared to work at Canberra and Region Visitors Centre (CRVC), Canberra International Airport, and other offsite locations as required.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Applicants must have working rights in Australia.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- A current RSA Certificate, or ability to obtain.
- A current First Aid Certificate, or ability to obtain.
- Driver’s license Class C is beneficial.
- Ability to speak a language other than English is advantageous.
Note: This position will be offered on a casual basis up to 20 hours per week and the full-time salary noted above will be paid pro-rata.
