About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a new graduate Exercise Physiologist to join the RACS Exercise Physiology team for 12 months. The RACS Exercise Physiology team is based within Brindabella Day and Ambulatory Rehabilitation Services (BDARS), however provides clinical services across inpatient and outpatient services based at UCH including hydrotherapy.
Clinical supervision, support and professional development are provided through team structures, clinical supervision, competency-based skills assessments, on the job training, and internal and external professional development opportunities. The position also has regular access to support through the Exercise Physiology Profession Lead.
The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to join the CHS Allied Health interprofessional graduate program. This program is specifically designed to support new graduates to launch their careers in healthcare and develop their professional identity. The program provides graduates with individual support to optimise learning and career opportunities. The program also offers a 12-month Allied Health Interdisciplinary education program facilitated by the Allied Health Clinical Education Unit.

- Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
- Current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
- Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
- Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
