About the Role:

ACT Pathology, Microbiology Department is based at the Canberra Hospital laboratory and provides a broad range of clinical diagnostic microbiology services, including bacteriology, mycobacteriology, mycology and parasitology. The successful applicant will be required to process patient samples for microbiological examination, read culture plates, perform bacterial identification, and set up and interpret susceptibility testing. The laboratory operates an extended hour service 7 days a week and the successful applicant will be required to participate in the out of hours roster.
