Details: The Project Officer reports to the assigned Project Manager and is responsible for working with the Project Team to assist with the development and implementation of successful projects; including preparing project documentation, contributing to issue resolution and escalation, communication, research, analysis activities and planning and monitoring activities.

  • In conjunction with the Project Manager, manage the analysis, planning, development, implementation of Digital Solutions projects.
  • Provide administrative support for Digital Solutions projects such as preparing and maintaining project documentation and minute taking.
  • Assist in providing training and support required for the implementation of new (or upgraded) solutions.
  • Provide project and secretariat support to projects including procurement, invoicing and recruitment processes.
  • Liaise with vendors, staff, managers and key stakeholders as well as conduct and participate in meetings.
  • Undertaking other duties appropriate to this level of classification that contribute to the Directorate.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent) in Project Management.
  • Foundation certification in PRINCE2

  • Good writing skills.
  • Willingness to learn through team and work experiences

Notes: This is a temporary position available from 17 March 2025 until 16 March 2026 with the possibility of permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
