The Digital Solutions Division within ACT Health is seeking a suitably qualified individual to work on a team of talented data professionals working to manage the data capabilities used across ACT Health and Canberra Health Services.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:

Mandatory

• Experience in data management, data engineering and data architecture
• Experience with logic-based language or scripting, such as SQL
• Experience working in Agile teams or projects
• This role requires you to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV1 security clearance, which will be sponsored by the ACT Health Directorate. To be eligible for an NV1 security clearance, you must be an Australian citizen. If you are not successful in obtaining a Security clearance, your employment in the role will not commence. If already commenced, your employment will be terminated.
• Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.

Highly Desirable

• Experience in using Microsoft cloud technologies or equivalent to support data projects and initiatives
• Azure Synapse, Data Factory, or other cloud data integration tools
• Experience with Analytical platforms such as Power BI or equivalent
• Experience using CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Git

Note: This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 June 2025 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
